IKA launches eco-friendly cooled incubator

IKA-Werke is expanding its portfolio of temperature chambers with an environmentally friendly and resource-saving cooled incubator. The new INC 125 FC digital complements the existing models, the classic INC 125 F digital incubator and the INC 125 FS digital incubator shaker with its patented removable shaking platform. All devices in the series are ideal for applications in the life sciences: for microbiological tests, stability studies or cell cultivation.

Precise and safe temperature control

The new INC 125 FC digital cooled incubator stands for precise temperature control and homogeneous temperature distribution. It covers a wide temperature range from -5 to 100 °C and, at 125 liters, offers the largest volume in its class.

Environmentally friendly and resource-saving

Equipped with the natural refrigerant R290 and a modern microchannel condenser, the device ensures effective heat extraction from the incubator and release into the environment. The demand-controlled electronic expansion valve enables precise control of the refrigerant expansion. This results in a high cooling capacity and fast cooling rates, while at the same time reducing the energy requirement to a minimum. Users therefore benefit not only from fast and reliable results, but also from significantly lower operating costs.

This is complemented by the excellent insulation and recirculation mode, which can be set to ten levels. The integrated defrost function simplifies maintenance and increases operating efficiency. Any water that accumulates can be continuously drained through the drain opening.

The INC 125 FC digital is therefore not only an environmentally conscious choice, but also an economically sensible investment for modern laboratories that value sustainability and efficiency.

Hygienic working conditions

The inner chamber is made of corrosion-resistant AISI 304 material, which ensures durability and easy cleaning. Thanks to the rounded corners and smooth surfaces, the incubator is easy to clean. A decontamination mode is available to disinfect the interior and prevent cross-contamination.

Space-saving

To save valuable space in the laboratory, up to two incubators from the IKA INC series can be stacked on top of each other with the appropriate accessories to save space.
