Faster, sharper imaging for neuroscience and cell biology

Evident is raising the bar in life science microscopy with the launch of its FLUOVIEW™ FV5000, a next-generation confocal and multiphoton imaging system designed to deliver faster, sharper, and fully quantifiable data.

Engineered for neuroscience, cell biology, and drug discovery applications, the FV5000 combines photon-level quantitation, high-speed scanning, and AI-powered software to provide researchers with reliable, reproducible insights. Its dual scanning technology - featuring both 2K resonant and 8K galvo modes - allows scientists to capture rapid cellular dynamics or explore large sample areas at high resolution without compromise. Researchers can follow live-cell events in real time, achieve feature resolution down to 120 nm, and process data up to nine times faster than traditional systems.

The system’s advanced SilVIR™ detectors set a new standard in sensitivity, delivering ultra-high signal-to-noise ratios across an extensive dynamic range. An integrated laser power monitor ensures consistent illumination, giving users confidence in the reproducibility of their results.

Evident has also reimagined the user experience with FLUOVIEW Smart™, an AI-driven interface designed for simplicity and efficiency. Features like Smart Sample Search, Smart Laser Power Adjustment, Intelligent Shading Correction, and TruResolution™ automated objective collar alignment streamline workflows, reduce manual steps, and accelerate time to data - all while maintaining the integrity and clarity of imaging results.

For multiphoton applications, the FV5000MPE offers a compact, fibre-pigtailed laser solution for routine imaging, with fully tunable configurations available for advanced experiments. The MPE module can be added as an upgrade to existing FV5000 systems or configured as a complete standalone solution.

“The FV5000 represents a bold step forward in microscopy,” said Wes Pringle, CEO of Evident. “By combining advanced detection, flexible scanning, and AI-enabled software, we’re transforming complex imaging tasks into streamlined, efficient workflows, empowering researchers to focus on discovery rather than process.”

The FV5000 marks Evident’s first product under its new branding, building on decades of precision and performance from the Olympus legacy while introducing a fresh era of innovation in life science imaging.
