The new Systec DX- and VX-Series
Systec GmbH & Co. KG introduces the new Systec DX- and Systec VX-Series, marking the next generation of compact and medium-sized laboratory autoclaves. Based on the proven technology of the latest Systec HX-Series, both lines have been completely redesigned, featuring a modern exterior, optimised process architecture, and a newly developed touchscreen control system. Together, these enhancements deliver faster, more precise, and more resource-efficient sterilisation with a high level of user convenience.
All models are equipped as standard with digital connectivity, including Ethernet and USB, with Wi-Fi available as an option. Process data can be exported automatically in PDF or CSV format, while the expanded internal memory allows storage of at least ten years of process records. Tamper-proof signatures, AuditTrail functionality, and full traceability ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
The autoclaves are constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel (AISI 304) for the frame and housing, with pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel (AISI 316L) used for the pressure vessel. The standard operating range reaches 140°C at 4 bar, with an optional extension to 150°C at 5 bar. Up to five flexible PT-100 temperature sensors can be configured for documentation or direct process control, while user management allows up to 100 users or user groups with individual or shared program access.
Designed for demanding laboratory applications, the new series reliably sterilise liquids, porous solids, large-volume media bottles, and waste materials in fully validatable processes.
Systec DX-Series – horizontal benchtop autoclaves
The Systec DX-Series includes seven horizontal benchtop models with chamber volumes from 25 to 200 litres. The compact design ensures efficient use of laboratory space while enabling high loading capacities for standard bottles, Erlenmeyer flasks, and bulk materials. Shorter heating and cooling phases significantly reduce cycle times, increasing throughput. Cleanroom-grade, particle-free insulation materials further improve energy efficiency.
Systec VX-Series – vertical floor-standing autoclaves
The Systec VX-Series comprises eight vertical floor-standing models with chamber volumes from 40 to 150 litres. Designed for applications requiring maximum loading height, the vertical configuration allows ergonomic handling of heavy or large-volume loads, with an optional lifting device available. The generous chamber height accommodates multiple flasks or media bottles in a single cycle, while the optimised process architecture ensures fast, energy-efficient sterilisation.
Both series can be tailored with a wide range of options, including vacuum systems for solids and waste, radial fans for homogeneous cooling, ultracoolers for up to 90% faster cooling, steam–air mixtures for pressure-sensitive materials, exhaust air filtration, and Superdry drying systems.
Digital monitoring with Systec Connect DS
Systec Connect Documentation System (DS) enables real-time, browser-based monitoring of all sterilisation processes across DX-, VX-, and HX-Series autoclaves. Without additional software or hardware, users can view current and completed cycles centrally, improving efficiency and reducing downtime. Clear, colour-coded displays provide instant status visibility, while historical data and performance statistics support long-term process optimisation. All data remains within the local network, with access restricted to authorised users.
Complete portfolio
Systec now offers three harmonised autoclave ranges covering chamber volumes from 25 to 1580 litres, providing scalable solutions for laboratories and industry.
Statement from Systec
“With the new DX- and VX-Series, we continue our commitment to innovation, combining efficiency, process safety, and digital readiness to support modern laboratory workflows.”
