Laboratory Glassware with High Chemical Resistance

Many chemical processes often use glass apparatus designed according to the customer´s specification which are drawn up for either universal or single-purpose applications. Simax always aim to construct a functional, simple and as a consequence, an advantageously priced piece of apparatus. Simax glass is perfectly transparent, catalytically indifferent, corrosion-resistant and free of any heterogeneous particles. Even after prolonged use and at temperatures in excess of 100ºC, Simax glass, with its chemical durability, will outstrip the performance of most metals and other raw materials.

Of a particular advantage is using glass apparatus for assembling experimental and pilot-plant units which can be modified as required and subsequently rebuilt, e.g. by replacement of some parts, to production units. Use of glass together with high-quality packing materials is particularly advantageous due to its high chemical resistance, possibility of visual inspection of running processes, and easy monitoring of apparatuses assembled from a wide assortment of glass parts.

All glass parts are made of Simax borosilicate glass 3.3. This type of borosilicate glass is characterised by a high chemical resistance, low coefficient of linear thermal expansively and thus a high resistance against temperature changes. All Simax laboratory glassware is produced strictly to the relevant ISO standard and Kavalier’s exacting standards of quality control. If you are looking for top quality design at an affordable price, try Simax Industrial apparatus.
