Precision Temperature Testing of Electronic Components and Assemblies.

Genevac has announced the introduction of the FTS AirJet XE from SP Industries. The FTS AirJet XE is a precision temperature forcing system for temperature testing of electronic components and assemblies.

Capable of temperatures from –75°C to 225°C the AirJet XE is the only compact temperature forcing system that exceeds the full Mil-Spec temperature range. Featuring reliable, dual-stage mechanical refrigeration the AirJet XE delivers unmatched thermal performance and ultra-quiet operation. The AirJet XE offers the convenience of operating on standard 110 or 220 volt mains power.

Configurable for benchtop, rack mounted or mobile applications the AirJet XE can produce temperature transitions, from +125°C to -55°C in only 20 seconds. An external DUT sensor enables precise temperature control (0.1°C) and optimised transition rates. Offering facility to create and store up to 48 temperature / ramp/ soak test profiles the AirJet XE can be used by both occasional and specialist users. An Autotuning feature enables the control algorithm to be optimised for DUT mass.

Typical temperature testing applications that will benefit from the AirJet XE include electronic component / assembly research and development, device characterisation, failure analysis and design verification.
