New high-performance scientific refrigerators and freezers

Specialists in commercial cooling and freezing, German manufacturer, Liebherr is proud to introduce its new series of free-standing refrigerators and freezers designed specifically to meet the rigorous requirements of healthcare, research and laboratories.

Launching in March 2024, models SCFvh 4032 and SFPvg 6501 meet all the necessary storage properties and performance criteria to fully comply with DIN 13277.

Part of the Performance series, the new free-standing refrigerators and freezers are also equipped with a mechanical lock with two keys for storing temperature-sensitive products. This means users can be sure no unauthorised personal can gain access to stored goods.

Like all Liebherr’s research and laboratory refrigerators and freezers, these new models feature outstanding temperature stability. Thanks to the in-built SafetyDevice function, should the temperature in the device drop below +2oC for any reason, the 2+OC SafetyDevice function takes over control. The appliances have incredibly accurate temperature settings accurate thanks to the precise electronics of the digital temperature display. Even with a full load, a uniform cooling capacity is ensured inside the appliance by means of a forced-aired cooling system.

With medical and scientific industries placing the highest demands on the storage of sensitive substances, all Liebherr appliances feature innovative safety function alerts. This means that even the slightest changes in temperature will trigger an alert to be sent to users through Liebherr’s cloud-based SmartMonitoring system – helping keep temperatures stable and ensure any sensitive substances are protected from damage.

As standard across all Liebherr’s professional laboratory equipment, defrosting is no longer necessary. Any moisture that occurs is bound by the circulating air cooling. This means that demand-controlled defrosting phases expel even the smallest moisture particles from the interior - for comfortable, safe and ice-free storage.
