Chinese microtechnique news reports ongoing nuclear magnetic moment research
Dec 23 2010
The editorial board of SCIENCE CHINA: Physics, Mechanics & Astronomy has dedicated an issue to nuclear magnetic moments.
However, despite containing ten separate papers on the topics, the editors say their issue barely touches on the full range of microtechnique news emerging from the topic area.
"In summary, theoretical description of nuclear magnetic moments is one of the long-standing subjects; more important progress will be made in the near future," they add.
Using nuclear magnetic moment, structures at the single-particle level can be probed and nuclear models tested to a stringent degree.
Publisher Science China Press has represented advances made by Chinese scientists across a range of natural science disciplines for more than 50 years.
