UVP’s UV3 HEPA PCR hoods create the ideal environment for PCR preparation. Reduce sample contamination by use of 254nm UV and three-stage filter system. Shortwave 254nm UV sources enable decontamination. UV is located in filter system and inside the chamber. Filter system features:
Pre-filter blocks large particles
Carbon filter eliminates ozone/gases
HEPA filter blocks particles down to 0.3 microns
Each hood includes built-in power outlets, a UV exposure timer and easy-clean antimicrobial coating to resist bacteria growth. Select from large workstation or smaller cabinet.
