Raman and Fluorescent Certified Reference Material

A new Certified Reference Material from Starna Scientific provides an elegant way of estimating the ultimate sensitivity of high-performance spectrofluorometers. Conventional solution measurements with concentrations near the detection limit are impractical because sample preparation is difficult and there is a real risk of contamination. This novel Reference uses the Raman scattering exhibited by ultra-pure water to simulate the fluorescence of a very low fluorophore concentration. The Reference Material comes with a Certificate of Validation and full instructions for use.
