Microbiology media supplier, Lab M, has made a significant number of new appointments to enhance its offering of specialist products and services to customers worldwide, reflecting its continued growth as a global supplier of culture media, supplements and microbiology products.
The investment in a number of specialists joining its Research and Development (R&D), Quality Control (QC) and Sales teams means customers will benefit from the development of a wider range of microbiology products to meet their business needs along with enhanced expertise and customer support excellence offered by Lab M’s team.
Melanie Patterson joins the Lab M board as Head of Business Development, bringing a wealth of industry experience and knowledge of product management to develop Lab M’s offering to meet customer requirements worldwide and drive growth in a competitive and changing market.
The company has also expanded its export sales team and recruited a new Account Manager covering the northern region of the UK to strengthen its service to customers both at home and overseas.
New appointments within Lab M’s Research and Development (R&D) and Quality Control (QC) teams will ensure the development of new products as well as the extension of existing ranges to enable customers to meet their business requirements in a range of industries with quality and legislative standards guaranteed.
“These new appointments demonstrate our commitment to becoming the first port of call for microbiology products and expertise worldwide,” said Lab M’s Managing Director, Ian Morris. “More than 50 per cent of our staff are now qualified to degree level or higher and we’re also supporting one of our R&D development scientists through their PhD.
“We are expanding our teams to ensure that we continue to develop both our existing portfolio and new products, and provide the customer support excellence for which we are renowned.”
Lab M continues to focus on the development and improvement of microbiological products, offering accurate, fast and reliable methods for the detection, isolation and identification of micro-organisms.
