Anton Paar offers a range of Abbemat refractometers which embody decades of technical know-how: The Performance line, Performance Plus line and Heavy Duty line refractometers.

The refractometers of the Performance line are ideal for routine analyses and quality control, ranging from checks on incoming raw materials to intermediate and final products. Their sturdy design and straightforward operation make the Abbemat Performance line models true laboratory workhorses.

The refractometers of the Performance Plus line are designed for research and development as well as demanding quality control applications. They can be expanded with Plug and Play options, such as an optional built-in peristaltic pump for convenient sample filling or a pH sensor. This ensures that the Abbemat Performance Plus line is fit for future tasks. To simplify frequent changes to applications, navigation is simple using the intuitive touchscreen. With the Performance Plus line you can automate sample filling and measurement with the Xsample 122 autosampler from Anton Paar.

The refractometers of the Heavy Duty line are for work in harsh environments and for special applications. They measure when other refractometers fail. There is a Heavy Duty line refractometer for high-precision measurements, for measuring samples with high or low refractive index, for  determining dispersion and measuring refractive index at different wavelengths, and for  high-temperature measurements. They have a hermetically sealed stainless steel casing and no  display, so they are not affected by spillage or dirt. Heavy Duty line refractometers are controlled by an external PC which can be placed away from the workbench in another part of the laboratory.

The Abbemat refractometers can be adapted to fulfill every task. They form a successful team with Anton Paar’s DMA M density meters and MCP polarimeters and have a wide range of accessories, including different types of sample cells.
