Automatic Gap Feature for RST-CPS Touch Rheometer
Aug 04 2015
Brookfield introduces an Automatic Gap Setting feature for the RST-CPS Touch™ Cone/Plate rheometer. Previously customers would use a dial indicator gauge to manually set the critical gap between the nose of the spindle cone and the plate of the instrument. Now the instrument can do it automatically.
Brookfield’s Automatic Spindle Recognition System utilises a barcode on the spindle shaft to identify the spindles cone diameter, angle and truncation value. The RST-CPS Touch reads the barcode and then automatically sets the gap to the proper truncation value for consistent, repeatable measurements.
The RST-CPS Touch Rheometer operates in both controlled stress and controlled rate modes. It features a user friendly LCD touch screen with graphical display, 11 memory slots for structured multi-step test programs, and quick connect coupling for easy spindle attachment.
Optional Rheo3000 Software provides PC control and data management including support for 21 CFR compliance relating to controlled user access and data security. The RST-CPS Touch delivers exceptional versatility with the largest range of shear rates and DIN spindle geometries. It’s sturdy, rugged design is ideal for use in R&D, working in the QC lab, or on the production floor. No other instrument offers the capability of the RST-CPS Touch at this price point.
