The Work2Store™ rack (p. 2) reduces sample handling time and the need for several racks when working with samples for cold temperature storage. It expands (via patent-pending hinges) to provide extra space for titration and sample manipulation. When work is complete, the rack closes and a clear lid holds it together, ready for freezer storage in standard 2“ freezer racks.

The rack holds up to 64 x 1.5/2.0 mL micro-centrifuge tubes and most standard cryogenic vials up to 2.0 mL. A center depression in each well stabilizes conical centrifuge tubes and locks cryogenic tubes in place for one-handed cap removal. The Work2Store™ rack is stackable, autoclavable and includes alphanumeric well identification. The Gusto™ high-speed mini centrifuge (p. 51) is small enough for personal use, yet fast enough (up to 12,500 rpm) for PRC, cell separations, HPLC sample prep, and many other applications. The two included rotors (1.5/2.0 mL tube and 0.2 mL tube) can be changed without tools. The compact footprint and brushless motor provide quiet operation and low vibration/noise. Select and set the digital speed in xg or rpm.

The Gusto™ offers a number of safety features, including a sample imbalance/tilt safety cut-out. It also will not run when the lid is open. A back-lit display shows time, speed and operational information. A Quick-Spin button is useful for short-spin requirements and double-insulated construction withstands rugged use. The Gusto™ centrifuge: maximum speed with minimal space!

Mini coolers (p. 11) are prefilled with insulating gel to keep PCR reagents, enzymes or other biochemicals cool on the benchtop. There are even versions with gel-filled lids for extra cooling!

With DuraPorter™ translucent sample transport boxes (p. 74-75), you can check sample integrity before you open the lid. A water-tight seal and three lid locks provide a secure seal. Available in three colors!
