The C60 model has the electrical heating elements contained within the actual chamber. This provides for faster and more efficient build-up of high-temperature, pressurised sterilising steam. It makes the C60 top-loading autoclave ideal for either continuous or periodic sterilising requirements, a very cost-efficient autoclave achieving lower operations costs. 

Designed and built by Priorclave, the versatile compact C60 top-loading laboratory autoclave has a 60 litre chamber and comes equipped for advanced sterilising programs. It is the ideal general lab or research autoclave for laboratories looking to process tall items. It can accommodate easily ten one-litre or sixteen 500ml bottles, alternatively six one-litre Erlenmeyer flasks, highlighting the versatility of an autoclave requiring just 472 x 620mm of floor space.

Priorclave can add to a basic model, introducing components from an extensive list of options and accessories, tailoring the autoclave build to match specific sterilising requirements.

Access to the vertical sterilising chamber is via Quickseal, a single-action door closure/opening mechanism. Suited to one handed operation, the mechanism incorporates thermal and pressure locks preventing opening at unsafe temperatures and pressure to prevent personal injury.

Programming of the sterilising set-up of time and temperature as well as selection of special features such as free‐steaming and media warming is through the very latest version of Tactrol, a microprocessor-based control unit. The Tactrol® 3 controller presents to the user a crystal-clear LCD display and provides a more simplistic approach to function settings yet still retains the simple to use day to day operation of previous versions with Start, Vent and Door buttons.

The build quality and performance of the C60 top loading research grade laboratory autoclave is unquestionable - durable and reliable. It also incorporates epoxy coated panels and frame members treated with an antimicrobial agent that is effective against many bacteria and fungi including MRSA, E.coli, Listeria, Legionella, Campylobacter, Salmonella and Pseudomonas. The compact, C60 top-loading autoclaves simply plugs into a 13A socket and is fitted with castors, enabling it to be moved easily, even shared with different departments.  Extremely easy to install, it can be operations within minutes.
