Research and Routine Options
Apr 11 2016
Waters’ introduced its benchtop platform Vion™ IMS QTof, providing ion mobility to routine as well as research labs. The ability to clean up and simplify every spectrum, makes data interpretation easier, enabling faster method development..
The REIMS Research System, with either Xevo® G2-XS QTof or SYNAPT® G2-Si HDMS mass spectrometers and using Progenesis® QI software, brings rapid evaporative ionisation to applications such as food research. Direct-from-sample analysis highlights differences between samples and identifies the compounds responsible.
Also on show the NuGenesis Lab Management System, a user-centric platform encompasses NuGenesis SDMS, a compliant-ready data repository; NuGenesis ELN, a flexible analytical electronic laboratory notebook and NuGenesis Sample Management, which seamlessly links data from the lab to the business operations of the enterprise.
Improvements to Empower 3 chromatography data software (CDS) included customisable views, analytics dashboards, newICH impurity processing and enhanced MS capabilities.
In the ACQUITY range both achiral and chiral separations can now be run on a single ACQUITY UPC2 System, providing better retention control of analytes for separating, detection, quantifying structural analogs, isomers, enantiomeric and diasteriomeric mixtures; the ACQUITY Arc System can replicate, improve or accept methods from any LC platform, providing plug-and-play method compatibility for HPLC and UHPLC separations; while the robust ACQUITY QDa mass detector can be pre-optimised to work with samples, without sample-specific or user adjustments typical of traditional MS instruments.
