Scanning Probe Microscopy Meeting 2018: Abstract Submission Open

This year’s Scanning Probe Microscopy Meeting, SPM 2018 is taking place at the University of Leeds from 25-26 June and strongly encourages the participation of early career researchers. It represents an exciting opportunity to explore the latest developments in scanning probe microscopies. From the study of calcium dynamics in cardiac cells to the electrical imaging of graphene and 3D printing at the nanoscale, we aim to showcase the diversity of the state of the art in SPM techniques.

The annual SPM meeting provides an excellent forum for the community to meet and discuss the latest advances in the field. It will encompass four sessions providing a broad cross section of the latest SPM techniques and applications within; living systems, advanced materials, instrument development and nanomechanics.

The Royal Microscopical Society(RMS) is now accepting abstracts for the next SPM meeting in Leeds with both poster and oral forms invited.

By presenting your work at SPM 2018, your research will be highlighted to those using similar techniques to you across a range of disciplines, leading to really interesting and sometimes collaborative feedback.

Abstract submission for SPM 2018 is open until Friday 4th May, don’t miss your chance to be a part of this great meeting.
