The Royal Microscopical Society (RMS) is hosting two hands-on courses at the University of York in June 2025. The Light Microscopy Summer School (9–10 June) covers fundamental principles and practical issues in light microscopy, suitable for both beginners and more experienced users. Participants will gain valuable hands-on experience through practical sessions, with excellent feedback from past attendees.

Following this, the Getting the Most from Your Confocal Course (11–12 June) delves into confocal microscopy techniques, including multicolour imaging, FRAP, and spectral profiling, focusing on real-world applications and problem-solving with various sample types and fluorescent probes.

Both courses offer in-depth training for those in research and commercial sectors, with participants leaving equipped with enhanced skills and knowledge.
