Peptide Symposia Targets at Drug Discovery Market.

Organisers of the 4th International Peptide Symposium / 7th Australian Peptide Conference / 2nd Asia-Pacific Peptide Symposium, 21st 25th October 2007 announce that registration and programme details are now available on-line at the Peptide Symposium homepage.

The meeting will be held in tropical Cairns at the Cairns Convention Centre, which is currently ranked in the top three conference centres worldwide. Over 20 invited Australian and International speakers will form a core program that promises excellent and exciting science. The meeting will cover not only peptide chemistry and biology, but will also have a particular emphasis on emerging technologies such as proteomics, biosensors, bioinformatics, fluorescent technologies, identification of new biomarkers as well as novel applications of the more established techniques with a major theme "Discovery to Drugs: The Peptide Pipeline".

There will also be four official conference satellite symposia Chemical Protein Synthesis, Modern Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis, Protein Misfolding and Peptidomics open to delegates.
