Appointment Bolsters Strategic Presence in China

Laboratory tools developer H.E.L Group has appointed Qing (Steven) Chen as China General Manager (GM). Steven will support the company’s transition to a wholly foreign-owned entity (WFOE) in China, as the Company expands its sales, marketing and support efforts in the region.
With over 20 years’ experience in senior management, including roles in the Chinese divisions of Bruker Optics and more recently Nanophoton Corporation, Steven also held the position of Greater China President during a 10-year tenure with PerkinElmer, overseeing business strategy implementation and P&L responsibility for the area.

The setting up of a legally owned entity in China reflects our long-term commitment to the region and our intent on building a stronger and more effective presence there.
