BioTek Expands in the United Kingdom

BioTek Instruments, Inc expands their ongoing investment in the European microplate-based technology market with the opening of their new UK Office in Swindon. Mr Dominic Herring, previously BioTek’s Business and Development Manager with BioTek Singapore, was named General Manager. The new office will focus on bringing enhanced applications and technical support to current and future customers in the United Kingdom.

"The UK’s biotechnology and life scientific sectors are growing; supported by the government’s focus and investment," noted Dominic Herring, BioTek’s UK General Manager. "Our new and expanded direct office in Swindon will allow us to provide local, comprehensive and immediate sales, applications and service support to our rapidly increasing customer base in a market that continues to demonstrate high quality scientific research."  BioTek UK is now fully functional and will house administration, sales, service, technical support, training and a complete supplies inventory.
