Biochrom Appoints Group Managing Director

Biochrom Ltd, the UK based subsidiary of Harvard Bioscience Inc, has announced the appointment of Sam Luke as its new Group Managing Director, as the company looks forward to expanding its
future potential.
Commenting on his appointment Sam said: “I am delighted to be back in Cambridge and joining a very talented team. This is an exciting time to join Biochrom.
Following the recent launch of the new Biochrom Libra range of double beam UV spectrophotometers and new amino acid analysers, we aim to focus on business growth, building on the momentum achieved to date.”
Sam holds an Engineering degree from Clare College, University of Cambridge, UK, and has more than 25 years experience in the instrumentation and measurement market. He spent the last six years as the European General Manager for the customer services division of Agilent Technologies. Prior to that, he held a number of senior positions in sales and marketing at Agilent Technologies and Hewlett Packard.
HBIO Division President Jeff Cohen welcomed Sam saying: “His wealth of experience, leadership and strong customer focus will be invaluable as Biochrom pursues an active product development programme and expands operations worldwide.”
