Ibox® Small Animal Imaging System - Seeing the Answers Within

Jul 25 2008

The iBox Small Animal Imaging System form UVP, is revolutionizing in-vivo imaging by enabling researchers to visualize and capture multispectral fluorescently labeled cells.

The system supplies researchers with a high resolution, deeply cooled CCD camera with high sensitivity and low light detection of fluorescent markers deep within the animal. The easy to use software automates research with templates to enable reproducible, consistent results. The light tight darkroom creates optimum conditions and includes integrated lighting and motorized platform.

A wide spectral range of emission filters enables visible, IR and UV to meet all spectral requirements is supplied with the darkroom and automated BioLiteâ„¢ MultiSpectral Light Source. The warming station is temperature regulated providing optimum animal temperature during imaging procedures.
An anesthesia unit is available which produces a state of immobilization of the animal that allows for acquisition of repeatable, reliable images and data. The real-time, non-invasive imaging capabilities speed up basic and preclinical research studies in tumors, oncology, heart and metabolic diseases. IQ/OQ documentation available. for more information on the
