TitroLIne® 6000/7000 – the new titration series from SI Analytics
Mar 07 2012
Although titration is a relatively “old” analytical method, it is still one of the most accurate and robust ones and hence very popular. The requirements for precise, reliable, flexible yet easy operation instruments have led to the development of a new family of SI Analytics titrators.
The automatic titrators TitroLine® 6000 and 7000 and the piston burette TITRONIC® 500 feature a brilliant, high-contrast TFT display and compact exchangeable units that can store all reagent specific data plus the unit size.
Connection of stirrer, keyboard, printer, balance, PC and USB storage media can be done via 3 USB and 2 RS-232 ports. Standard methods and formulae allow to easily generate up to 50 user-defined methods.
The TitroLine® 7000 additionally features SI Analytics’ s unique wireless electrode recognition system. When used with SCHOTT® Instruments ID electrodes by SI Analytics, the calibration data of the electrode is automatically transmitted to the instrument. Thereby the instrument will always use the correct calibration data for the measurement.
Fields of application of the autotitrators are the laboratories of water supply companies and wastewater treatment plants, the food and the chemical industry. Typical applications are the titration of the alkalinity and carbon dioxide, nitrogen (Kjeldahl), chloride, COD, acid number, iodine number and further specific numbers.
The piston burette is used in all industry branches. Applications are all manual titration and dosing tasks and sample preparation.
