Glacier’s insulation system is able to withstand extremely low temperatures; the Inner chamber is surrounded by foam-in-place polyurethane insulation from all sides; two (2) insulated inner doors maintain interior temperature during openings; multi-point gasket seals lock in cool temperatures while keeping out ambient air; heated door seals and insulated inner doors minimize the potential for frost build-up, creating consistent temperature uniformity and a reliable environment throughout the chamber increasing your cell viability.

The energy efficient cascade cooling system monitors temperature and pressures throughout high and low stage circuits. Constructed of heavy gauge cold-rolled steel, which conducts temperature more efficiently than stainless steel creating less stress on compressors,  the refrigeration system cools the oil that runs the compressors so they run cooler, last longer and provide greater temperature stability.

NuAire’s Electronic Microprocessor controls are simple to use; monitoring and controlling temperature and alarm set points, visual and audible alarms for high and low temperature, power and sensor failures, battery life, fan motor life, filter check, and door ajar.  The controls also operate cooling functions creating optimal storage conditions, thereby guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
