New Circulation Chillers offer Simple Operation and Flexibility

With the new Variocool circulation chillers as a successor to the legendary Lauda WK class, Lauda presents a great selection of models with a very wide performance range. The Lauda Variocool product line offers 13 models with many different options for demanding temperature control tasks. All models with electronic expansion valves regulate refrigeration with the utmost precision and only use the minimum amount of energy required. This reduces costs and helps with environmental conservation efforts. The circulation chillers are listed with the ‘Energy Saving Star’ label.

The Lauda Variocool circulation chillers are convincing in their flexible equipment possibilities, wide range of accessories and clear and simple operation. A colour TFT display is used for display and operation. The large display provides a clear representation of device information. The liquid filling level is shown on the display for example. A USB interface and an alarm contact are integrated as standard. Other interfaces are available as accessories. The interfaces are mounted at the front which allows easy access. The Variocool circulation chillers operate in the range between -20 and 40°C. The thirteen different models VC 600 to VC 10000 offer cooling performances from 600 W to 10 kW. The pumps in the models VC 600 to VC 2000 supply a maximum pressure of 0.9 bar. The maximum flow rate is 28 l/min. The VC 3000 to VC 10000 circulation chillers are equipped with powerful pumps with a maximum flow pressure of 3.2 bar. The pump supplies a maximum flow rate of 37 l/min. The maximum temperature range of 40°C can be extended to 80°C by optional heaters. The heaters are adapted to the cooling performance and enable the connected application to be heated up quickly when necessary. Optional pumps are available in the versions from VC 1200 for higher pressure requirements.

Lauda is capable of covering almost all areas of application for circulation chillers from the laboratory to industrial processes. Important applications of the Variocool circulation chillers are the cooling of rotation evaporators and distilling systems, the cooling of analytical instruments, the cooling water supply in laboratories, the temperature control of bioreactors or the supply of cooling traps.
