Interscience EasySpiral® is a fully automatic bacterial plater in compliance with today’s demands of productivity and efficiency in microbiological labs. Once the sample preparation is done, Petri dishes must be plated in order to carry out the microbiological analysis. When at least 3 dilutions are necessary in the manual plating method, there is no need for dilutions with EasySpiral®. The sensitivity is from 30 to 10 million CFU/ml on one Petri dish without any preliminary dilution of the mother suspension. Costs in time, consumables, space and steps are reduced by 75% as opposed to the manual method.

Accepted by the A.O.A.C and AFNOR standard V08-100 as an official method for bacterial enumeration. The Spiral® method has become the reference for applications such as food microbiology, medical bacteriology, research on food preservatives or cosmetological factor. The saving made on consumables (Petri dishes, agar, pipettes) also help to make it an environmental-friendly product.
