The FLEXUS range of automated liquid handlers from Gilson offers the most flexible, modular robotic pipetting system available. The modular design of FLEXUS allows for simple plug’n’play integration of a variety of peripheral devices. From plate readers, washers, incubators, shakers through to centrifuges, bar code readers, balances and nano-dispenser, FLEXUS can take control of your application.

The FLEXUS is fully customisable and can be configured to your requirements including 3 different platform lengths depending on throughput, up to 2 robotic arms each with either 1, 2, 4 or 8 pipetting probes with either washable or disposable tips. Plate and/or tube grippers provide flexible sample movement allowing manipulation of components on and off the bed. The 270° rotation allows for easy access to peripheral devices without user intervention and plate manipulation or re-orientation. Each Flexi-span pipetting probe is capable of liquid level and clot detection ensuring assay integrity with every run, whatever the sample type. The unique syringeless pumping system has a wide dynamic volume range from 1μl to 2ml.
