Products designed to facilitate the paraffin method of slide preparation

Electrothermal’s histology range includes three products designed to facilitate the paraffin method of slide preparation.

The Paraffin Wax Dispenser heats wax to a liquid state providing convenient ‘wax on tap’ for histology laboratories, with a PTFE coated interior and a heated non drip tap, it allows for clean and effortless sample embedding.

The Paraffin Flotation Bath is designed specifically to aid in the manipulation of sectioned samples onto glass slides and to flatten out crinkles after microtome sectioning. The black PTFE coated interior enables clear location of samples along with aiding easy cleaning of the bath.

The bestselling Slide Drying Bench is used for drying glass slides after sample mounting in preparation for clearing and staining of samples. Removable support bars allow the drying of up to 50 slides in different orientations- across the support bars, angled from the bars, or flat without the bars.
