Able to withstand temperatures from -80° C to +121°C (112°F to +249°F), Scienceware® Freezer Storage Boxes from Bel-Art Products are made from autoclavable polypropylene and won’t break down like cardboard freezer boxes due to frequent freezing and thaws. This saves users the hassle and expense of needing to replace freezer boxes, and it prevents the excess waste generated when using boxes that break down frequently. Perfect for keeping 0.5, 1.5 and 2.0ml cryo vials and microcentrifuge tubes organized on the bench, in the freezer, or during transport, they fit most standard 2" freezer racks. Each slot in the Scienceware® Freezer Storage Boxes is identified alphanumerically for easy identification and tracking of samples.

"Clear translucent lids make sample viewing possible without opening the box lid, unlike similar boxes with clear bottoms and coloured lids," according to Lenny Hernandez, Product Manager for Bel-Art Products. "They are available with five coloured bases to easily segregate like samples by colour, and there is a 100-place box in opaque black that is ideal for light sensitive samples. "A ’no-slide’ feature in the Scienceware® Freezer Storage Boxes provides security when stacking boxes," Hernandez added. "The grooves molded into the bottom and lid of each freezer box helps prevent slipping when stacked on the bench or anywhere around the lab."

Scienceware® 81-Place Freezer Storage Boxes have a secure fitting, lift-off, clear translucent lid and measure 14 x 14 x 4.8cmH (5.5 x 5.5 x 1.9"). The 100-Place Freezer Storage Boxes have a hinged lid with a snap tab that opens easily and closes securely. They measure 15.4 x 14.3 x 5.6cmH (6 x 537 x 2.2") with the hinges and tab, and 14.3 x 14.3 x 5.6cmH (5.7 x 5.7 x 2.2") without the hinges and tab.
