OHAUS all new Adventurer is ready for your lab, wherever that may be
Nov 10 2014
OHAUS, a leading worldwide manufacturer of scales and balances, announces the launch of the all new Adventurer analytical and precision balances. They combine functional features with the ease-of-use to provide accurate weighing and measurement results for standard laboratory weighing needs.
Stability, accuracy, and fast operation are the hallmarks of the new Adventurer. This trio of characteristics ensures the most important aspects of routine laboratory weighing are covered: accurate results you can count on extremely quickly.
The balance can be set up simply through Adventurer’s SmarText™ 2.0 color touchscreen and is equipped with a virtual QWERTY keypad. The screen offers direct access to operating the balance, inputting user profiles and responds to the touch of a gloved hand. Adventurer has six mechanical keys that provide one-touch operation of repetitive processes such as tare, zero, calibrate and print.
One of Adventurer’s main advantages are the space-saving draftshield doors constructed of two glass panels, reducing the space required on the lab bench when the doors are open. Additional benefits of the draftshield include wide side entry and smooth-gliding top mounted doors that are protected from debris build-up and extremely easy-to-clean.
The balances are equipped with standard connectivity options, such as a front USB host port for loading results directly to a USB drive and a second USB and an RS232 communication port in the rear of the balance for connecting the balance to peripheral devices. Additionally, the front USB port can be used to setup multiple balances by exporting (cloning) the profile from a master balance and transferring it to other Adventurer balances. Moreover, the laboratory professionals will definitely appreciate the fast stabilization time, real time clock for GLP/GMP applications, and the fully automatic internal calibration system, AutoCal™, on selected models.
Adventurer's tagline ready for your lab, wherever that may be describes best the number and variety of provided application modes and features that should meet most laboratory weight and measurement determination needs.
