Large Capacity Autoclaves with Smaller Footprints

It doesn’t necessarily follow that large capacity autoclaves need to take up more valuable floor space. With capacities from 150-litres to 450-litres, Touchclave-lab will meet the requirements of the busy laboratory thanks to standard features designed to maximise performance and minimise cycle times.

Between 150-litres and 300-litres, the width of the compact Touchclave-Lab is just 725mm, and between 360-litres and 450-litres the width is still only 825mm, meaning that the Touchclave-Lab range can generally be installed in relatively small areas with minimal expense and down-time.

All Touchclave-Lab models have a sliding door, which can be either manually or automatically opened/closed. This provides major advantages over hinged doors. Firstly you don’t need to allow any additional space for the door swing, which thus provides maximum flexibility when choosing where to site the autoclave. Secondly there is a real health and safety advantage in that, unlike swing doors where the hot inner surface is exposed to staff as it swings open, the Touchclave-Lab door slides safely down within the body of the autoclave and completely out of harms way.
