LABVOLUTION 2023: Paving the way for the lab of the future

Decision-makers, product developers and users from the various segments of the laboratory industry gather in Hannover, Germany from 09 to 11 May 2023 to get a close look at the latest developments and future trends at LABVOLUTION. This year the focus in on the three topics of digitization, artificial intelligence and sustainability.

The leading trade fair for digitization in the laboratory not only showcases innovative lab technology, infrastructure and automation, as well as solutions for optimized laboratory workflows, but also demonstrates how working in the lab might look like in the future through various special displays, such as the smartLAB. As a special display and visitor favorite at LABVOLUTION, the smartLAB has been outlining groundbreaking as well as practice-oriented solutions for the intelligent laboratory of the future since 2015. Led by cooperation partner Smartlab Solutions from Dresden, 14 exhibiting companies present thrilling solutions at the upcoming event dealing with the subjects of automation, optimization of workflows, robotics and artificial intelligence in four pioneering use cases and one mixed reality area. All fair trade visitors are invited to try out all presented use cases live on site in the smartLAB area in hall 20 at booth C40.

Other trade fair highlights include the top-class supporting program with more than 100 lectures on current topics including Genome Editing, Liquid Biopsy, LIMS and sustainability held by experts from science and industry, as well as the LABVOLUTION Award ceremony. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of products, informative special displays and various opportunities and formats to expand their know-how and exchange experiences”, states Carola Triebsch, LABVOLUTION Project Director at Deutsche Messe.
