Rockwell to Establish Automation Laboratory at Istanbul Technical University

Rockwell Automation, which continues to invest in Turkey, is to establish an industrial automation, motion control and safety laboratory at Istanbul Technical University. This project was said to support the company’s global corporate social responsibility and contributes to the training of engineer students in the use of automation systems before beginning their careers
Since its opening in 1997 Rockwell Automation Turkey has proved to be one of the Corporate company’s fastest growing business units. Rockwell Turkey General Manager Cenk Ceylan stated that they had increased investments in Turkey as a result of this distinction and recognition. “With the growth performance we have achieved, Rockwell Automation Turkey became the centre of attention at our global headquarters and was rewarded as the fastest growing country.
“The automation systems we have developed can be integrated into different systems and different brands in Turkey. Thus, we offer both a cost advantage to our customers and provide services for all needs. In Turkey, we first began our operations by providing services to global brands. And since 2008, we have been providing service to the important local brands of Turkey. Among our key customers are world’s giants such as Coca Cola, Good Year, P&G, Nestle and Unilever. As a result of our hard work, we received the approval of our headquarters in the USA to donate a $600,000 laboratory to ITU,” Mr. Ceylan said.
