Feb 03 2015
Around 200 delegates from the US, Europe and Japan are expected to attend Knowlege Management Dublin 2015, an inaugural conference in knowledge management for the pharmaceutical and medtech industries, on March 26-27 2015.
Arising from changes and updates in the international regulatory guidelines and in response to the new quality paradigm for the supply of medicinal products, KM DUBLIN 2015 will bring together thought leaders, health product regulators, life science industry practitioners and academics to explore the role that Knowledge Management can play in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective products to patients.
The Chief Executive of Health Products Regulatory Products (HPRA) Pat O'Mahony will open the conference with an address on Ireland's response to the global regulatory science effort. Speakers from NASA, Amgen, Eli Lily, Merck, Pfizer, Genzyme and J&J will share their learnings and best practices. Members of the ICH regulatory guidance teams from across Europe, Japan and the US will travel to Dublin to share their insights on the role that Knowledge Management plays as an enabler to effective quality systems.
Minister for Health, Leo Varadkar and Emer Cooke, Head of International Affairs at EMA deliver the closing remarks on Day 1 and Day 2, respectively.
Discussion and case studies involving both industry and regulators will outline the challenges in realising the full potential of the available knowledge assets within an organisation and the opportunities to get it flowing throughout the product lifecycle to benefit of the patient.
