MR Solutions Receive Queen’s Award at Buckingham Palace

Preclinical MRI imaging systems manufacturer MR Solutions has been presented with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its outstanding success in growing overseas sales. The company previously received an award for innovation in 2016.

MR Solutions developed the world’s first range of commercially available superconducting, helium-free compact preclinical MRI scanners, which are used for research purposes such as in cell visualisation for drug discovery.

The winner’s reception was hosted by Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh during July at Buckingham Palace. Dr David Taylor, CEO and Dr Vera Zhang, Director of MR Solutions’ international office based in Boston, stood in the receiving line for the Queen who congratulated the winners. Now in its 51st year, the awards are made annually to companies demonstrating a high level of business excellence through their financial strength as well as their sales success.
