Leading scientists will meet in July to discuss the latest solutions in science

The Solutions in Science (SinS) Conference and Exhibition will be held on 4th-6th July 2023 in Cardiff and will bring together laboratory and analytical scientists from various fields. This premier analytical meeting will feature keynote speakers, including Professor Steve Conlan,  Dr. Paul Ferguson, DR. Saer Samanipour, and Dr. Francisco Pena-Pereira.

SinS is the result of the desire to combine different science interest groups into a comprehensive, diverse, and complementary forum. This year's meeting will showcase a range of analytical topics, allowing for improved networking, discussions, and collaboration. SinS has been organised by members of the Royal Society of Chemistry and other like-minded groups including the BMSS, The ChromSoc, The British Society of Nanomedicine, The Institute of Physics and the Institute of Food Science Technology as an all-inclusive event for members and non-members to attend.

The SinS oral programme will highlight scientific solutions and present delegates with the latest research, techniques, instruments, and applications from industry and academia. The conference will be valuable for laboratory and analytical scientists across all industries.

One of the main aims of SinS is to bring together special interest groups to one large meeting, reducing travel and time while increasing networking and information sharing capabilities, all while keeping sustainability in mind.

The main themes for this year's SinS conference will discuss and present solutions on a range of topics, including bioanalytical science for One Health, Contaminants of emerging concern, digital solutions, hyphenated techniques and emerging modalities, establishing , green chemistry solutions, challenges in molecular characterisation, next-generation medicines, non-target analysis and suspect screening, particulate matter in complex samples, and sustainability in the regulated lab.
