BSF to Appoint New Chief Executive
May 13 2010
The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) is seeking a Chief Executive as part of its drive to create a five year strategic plan. The membership organisation, which supports and represents manufacturers and suppliers of safety products and services, has been steadily growing over the past years and 2009 saw an increase in funds despite the challenging economic climate. Following the appointment of David Hall as Chairman in February 2009, an extensive review was carried out to reassess the core aims of the federation and examine how the BSIF currently operates, its objectives and the services it offers to its members. As a direct result of the process, it has been decided to employ a Chief Executive who will be able to act as a new voice, driving the BSIF forwards and ensuring the BSIF can deliver robustly against its new core aims. A job description has been drawn up for this skilled role and the Federation Council anticipates that suitable candidates will come from, or be close to, the safety industry.
