First European Science World Takes Place in Berlin
Oct 01 2014
On 2nd September 2014, Science World, the Fisher Scientific Laboratory Experience, was held at the bcc Berlin Congress Centre GmbH.
Comprising more than 50 leading industry suppliers, the exhibition showcased thousands of innovative laboratory products and welcomed more than 600 delegates representing the breadth of the scientific community, through its doors.
As well as a unique opportunity to try out the latest laboratory equipment and meet the people behind brands such as GE Healthcare and Kimberly Clark, the event offered a series of seminars covering life sciences, research and analysis; Liquid Handling, Good Balance Calibration and Next Generation Sequencing were amongst the seminar titles with sessions hosted by industry experts including Eppendorf, Ohaus and Life Technologies.
Although this was the first Science World to be held in Germany, the event brings a legacy of 22 successful UK shows and is widely regarded by customers and industry experts as Europe’s premier laboratory show.
Customers described the event on twitter as “absolutely excellent!” and Stephen Pickering, VP Commercial Operations, Fisher Scientific Europe added, “ this has been a fantastic opportunity to connect with valued customers and suppliers, as we work together to develop our value proposition in Germany and throughout Europe.”
Science World will return to the UK in 2015 at a prominent London venue. Attendance is free of charge and transport is provided for groups of ten or more. Due to the high demand for places, laboratory professionals who wish to attend are encouraged to pre-register for the event at http://www.fisher.co.uk/index.php/en/events-and-exhibitions/science-world-registration.
