CISILE gains ground

CISILE 2011, the 9th China Internation Scientific Instrument and Laboratory Equipment Exhibition, which will be held in the China Beijing Exhibition Centre (April 25-27), is emerging as the largest scale, professional expo in China with a focus on promoting advanced scientific instruments and technology. Last year’s event saw 580 exhibitors amongst which were foreign enterprises from America, Germany, Japan, India, Singapore, Russia, Finland, England, Italy, Netherlands, South Korea, Malaysia, Spain, Switzerland, Hong, Taiwan and others, according to the organisers, China Instrument Manufacturers Association. Covering nearly 30,000m2, the scope of exhibits ranges from analytical and testing instruments to precision optical instruments, lab furniture and equipment, mechanical testing and metrology products, chemicals, reagents and specialised instrumentation.

To encourage self-innovation in manufacturing and improve industry standards, China Instrument Manufacturers Association will also host The CISILE 2011 Award with sub-groups hosting two other events: the 2011 China Scientific Instruments Development Annual Meeting (Instrument Analysis branch: Instrument Information Network) and the 2011 China Scientific Instruments Applied Technology Seminars (Beijing physical test and chemical analysis technology society). The former meeting will focus on the latest policies of China and the outlook for the scientific instrument industry; Principles from the Chinese provincial and municipal government departments, trade associations and professional bodies, companies and distribution agencies have been invited to attend. The Seminars will be presented by experts highlighting their latest products and also participating in discussion of trends in test and analysis applied technology.
