Supplying Quality to Science Since 1975
Jun 12 2015
In June 2015 Alpha Laboratories celebrates 40 years of providing support to UK and international scientists. The company remains today, as always, a family run business with the same vision and ethos, whilst continuing to focus on customer needs and ever changing technologies.
Whilst working with a multinational diagnostics company, Chairman David Giles became the catalyst behind Alpha Laboratories’ formation in 1975. It is now a journey which spans four decades of biotechnical innovation.
He says: “We have developed by not only looking after the customer but also by considering their patients, always providing products that bring clinical as well as functional or cost saving benefits. As a result we have gained a solid reputation for being honest, helpful and caring with emphasis on being a friendly organisation too.
“We’re quite a small player in a market that has continually demanding requirements, but we strive to make a difference. We find solutions and develop them in the market. We want to improve people’s lives with science. For me it’s a key motivator.
“Through worldwide connections and relationships with leading manufacturers, established and emerging suppliers, Alpha Laboratories sources the best products to help solve the problems you face in your laboratory every day. ?We endeavour to bring you solutions that: improve the quality of your results; save time; lower overall costs; reduce health and safety risks; support better patient outcomes in clinical environments.
We know you have a choice and that’s why we remain dedicated to providing specialist personalised customer service for many years to come.”
