Manufacturing Facility Granted ISO 9001:2015

A leading provider of recombinant antibodies has received ISO 9001:2015 for its Redcar-based manufacturing facility as of December 17, 2018. The certification strengthens Absolute Antibody’s diagnostic offerings, which enable customers worldwide to use antibody sequencing, engineering and expression services to develop diagnostic assays. The antibodies, said to be delivered in any format, offer potential for use by diagnostic developers as well as researchers working in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and academia.

During the past year, Absolute Antibody merged with Boston-based Kerafast, Inc. to expand their product and service portfolio and to provide more efficient delivery to its large North American customer base. Fueled by the recent increase in adoption of recombinant antibody technology, the company has grown significantly, and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 guidelines will enable Absolute Antibody to continue to expand its catalogue and custom service offerings.
