Back in the mid 20^th Century there were widely known double beam filter photometers FEC and FEC-56M-60 manufactured by ZOMZ. They were later replaced by single beam filter photometers KFK-2 and then KFK-2MP. The latter ones used a microprocessor that enabled the user to measure concentration in absolute units. The next stage was creation of the KFK-3 spectral photometer that used a monochromator containing a concave diffraction grating as a dispersing device. Photometer KFK-3 became the most popular and called-for photometer in the market.

The latest development – all purpose photometers KFK- 3- “ZOMZ” represent an upgraded version of KFK-3 model and include three options: KFK-3 -01-“ZOMZ”,  KFK-3 -02- “ZOMZ”, KFK-3 -03 – “ZOMZ”.

Photometer KFK-3-01-“ZOMZ” is a base model. It is a high performance ergonomically designed photometer intended for a clinical and chemical analysis of liquid solutions.  

The KFK-3-02-“ZOMZ” model has a thermostatic cuvette compartment, whereas KFK-3-03-“ZOMZ” contains a thermostatic flow cuvette and an external thermostat for sample preparation.
