Founded in 1971, Max D. Peters, ‘the entrepreneur’ started in his home and organised, operated, and assumed the risk of a business venture.

NuAire was awarded the first contract to produce the first modern-day Biological Safety Cabinet per NIH-03-112c for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda Maryland.

Today NuAire is run by three of Max’s sons. NuAire has been universally recognised as the leader in providing laboratory professionals with reliable products for the most demanding environments. With our state-of-the-art robotic sheet metal facility we are able to deliver standard as well as exceptional custom innovative products to our customers. The NuAire mission has always been and will continue to be to develop and deliver innovative products, communicate the latest technologies and product improvements, establish trust in both products and personnel, seek customer
satisfaction, and to continuously improve.

NuAire, Inc manufactures and sells biological safety cabinets; CO2 incubators; laminar airflow equipment; isolators/glove boxes; small animal handling equipment; ultra low temperature freezers and polypropylene products at three locations in Minnesota. With over 300,000ft2 of manufacturing space, including a state-of-the-art robotic sheet metal facility, NuAire provides employment to 350 Minnesota families and 60 North American Sales Representatives.

NuAire has several special business arrangements with strategic supply partners. NuAire, Inc recently started manufacturing a line of Biological Safety Cabinets in China to supply products to the Asian markets through Techcomp, Ltd. NuAire’s relationship with Techcomp, Ltd Dates back over 20 years.

NuAire sells and distributes their products internationally through 70 international distributors, dealers, and sales representatives in over 150 countries around the world.
