Using springless technology, the new range of viscometers and texture analysers from Meritics offer better reliability and less maintenance requirements than many conventional systems. Laboratory units, in-line units and a portable system are all available complete with a wide range of measurement heads to allow measurements to many ISO, DIN and ASTM standards. A low shear model using very small quantities of sample has just been released and temperature controlled systems and high temperature systems are available. The Tex’An 200 offers a quick and complete texture analysis of the consistency, elasticity and adhesivity of samples.
