pH is the most common parameter measured in analytical laboratories. The pH value plays a highly important role in biochemistry, chemistry and technology. It affects numerous chemical processes. For conventional pH indicator test strips, it might be difficult to deliver reliable results in turbid or colored liquids. Suspended particles which accumulate on the reaction zone can obscure the color and the read-off. The clear back of the special strips allows for a reading from the back without any interference for optimal results.

A novel method for measuring pH involves the use of the MQuant® StripScan smartphone app in combination with the universal pH test strips. This method provides pH measurements in a few seconds.  It also offers additional benefits from the StripScan web platform for automatic data storage, to generate graphs for further documentation, and an automatic data transfer to desktop devices.
