The specially developed thread and corresponding quick release closure allow the bottle to be opened and closed in less than a turn.

There is a choice of eight different sizes of the bottle, from 250 ml to 20,000 ml, in line with ISO 4796, complemented by the quick release closure. The bottles are also available in amber or plastic coated in all sizes. The amber coloured DURAN laboratory glass bottle protects media from light in the 300 nm - 500 nm wavelength range. This makes it particularly useful for working with light-sensitive media and for the long-term storage of substances. The plastic coated DURAN GLS 80 protect bottle is ideal for handling particularly valuable or dangerous materials. The plastic coating (made from PU) provides effective protection during routine laboratory work and retains the contents if the glass becomes damaged.
