DeNovix Announces an Evolution in Spectrophotometery –The DS-11 Microvolume Spectrophotometer

DeNovix Inc, a developer and manufacturer of life science instrumentation for bio-research, introduces the DS-11 Microvolume Spectrophotometer which features a custom Android™ operating system, a 7” high resolution touch screen, Wi-Fi, and the ability the measure the broadest concentration range of nucleic acids and proteins. 

The patent pending DS-11 is a stand-alone unit (no PC required) that rapidly quantifies 0.5 – 1.5 ul samples of nucleic acids and proteins. Measurements are made using intuitive EasyApps^® designed for the most common life science applications. The DS-11 is a full spectrum (190-840nm) UV-Vis spectrophotometer that measures the broadest concentration range of any microvolume spectrophotometer.

DeNovix EasyApps^® for quantification of dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA, purified proteins, and labeled proteins come pre-installed so that the instrument is ready to use immediately upon arrival. The DS-11 includes Wi-Fi, USB, and Ethernet connectivity, allowing users to easily export data via email, a USB drive, or via an optional printer. The instrument is available in three colors and model options include microvolume (DS-11) or microvolume and cuvette modes (DS-11+).

DeNovix offers a Free-Trial program that allows labs in the US and UK (excluding N. Ireland) to test the instrument in their labs for 7 days at no charge.
