German safety-storage cabinet manufacturer asecos has added to its range of expertly-designed safety storage solutions with the launch of the Q-PEGASUS range of safety storage cabinets.

The robust Q-PEGASUS safety storage cabinets are suitable for storing a wide range of hazardous materials. They are rated Type 90 – fire-resistant for up to 90 minutes – and are fully compliant with BS EN 14470-1, so giving complete peace of mind to the user.

asecos is continually researching and developing new products. The new Q-PEGASUS range typifies this pioneering spirit by adding to asecos’ classic range of Q-Line safety cabinets. The Q-PEGASUS incorporates all the features of the classic Q-Line, such as the handy doors that stay open in any position, the innovative Q-mover, which allows cabinets to be pushed through normal room doors in an upright position, and the integrated portable base that comes as standard, enabling the cabinet to be moved without the use of a pallet.

The Q-PEGASUS range has lots of extra technological features that provide both easier storage and quicker retrieval, such as its coupled door opening mechanism, allowing both doors to be easily opened using one hand, the right-hand door simultaneously opening the left-hand door, so that less force is required.

The Q-PEGASUS safety storage cabinets also have an automatic door closing system that closes both doors after 60 seconds, thanks to its built-in timer, ensuring that the safety storage cabinet stays closed for maximum ventilation and protection when not in use. For extra safety, an audible and visible signal is given before door closing.
