The SCS permanently and automatically controls all important parameters for the device safety. This intelligent combination of hardware components and software functions ensures trouble-free operation: gas flows, temperatures, pressures, system tightness, detector status, baseline stability or maintenance intervals are constantly checked. Temperature and pressure sensors are monitoring gas drying and cleaning. If any tolerance levels are exceeded, the SCS automatically shuts down the system to protect its high-value components. Furthermore the automatic check for gas leaks avoids scattering of measured values or false low readings caused by gas leaks or flow fluctuations.
