Role adds further Experience to Professional Sales Support

Smeg Instruments, providers of laboratory washing, refrigerated storage and associated equipment have gone from strength to strength with the recent hiring of Richard Adams as Regional Sales Manager covering the whole of the UK and Ireland. Joining at a very exciting time for the company, his role adds an additional head into the ever expanding and experienced team within the Professional Channel at Smeg UK.

Having worked for a number of manufacturers previously within the industry Richard’s product and industry knowledge, along with experience from a career dedicated to medical and instrument sales spanning 27 years, is the cornerstone to his success now working as a salesman in dedicated instrument capital equipment sales.

Phil Coulstock, Commercial Channel Director commented: “We’ve taken a while to fill this role as we wanted to get the right candidate to support a large geographical area for us, with some already significant and established accounts that we know require relatively hands on support. His background and wealth of product experience will give him a real head start with a number of new products in the coming months.”
